It is a wearable consumer wellness product worn below the knee. Four micro linear actuators apply a sequential pressure pattern to the calf, reproducing the mechanical movement calf muscles perform while walking. It is designed for the hours you spend seated.

Four linear actuators sit along the widest part of the calf, stacked bottom to top. The one closest to the ground presses first, then the second, third and fourth follow in order. As the first three retract together, the top one releases and the bottom one begins a new press, so the cycle runs without interruption. This is called a peristaltic pressure sequence, and it produces a cadence between 20 and 60 steps equivalent per minute. The device does not do this on a fixed programme: the actuator group engages when a sensor reading moves outside its reference range, and stops once it returns.

No. It does not stimulate muscles with electrical current. Parameters such as frequency, current or pulse width do not apply to ARCH; its operation is entirely mechanical.

No. Compression applies static pressure, while ARCH produces a cyclic mechanical movement. Medical stockings are a medical product used on a doctor's advice; ARCH does not replace them.

No. ARCH V1 is a consumer wellness product. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition and is not subject to medical device regulation.

No. The device is designed for seated use only. When you stand up or start walking, the motion sensor stops it automatically as a safety measure.

Three levels: Gentle (20 steps equivalent per minute), Standard (35) and Active (60). You can choose from the app, or let the device set its own timing from sensor readings.

Yes, that is exactly what it was designed for. It does not run continuously; it engages when needed and waits when it does not. It can stay on the leg for up to 12 hours.

There is no upper limit. A single charge gives roughly 10,000 steps equivalent; for 20-30 minute sessions that can mean 10-15 sessions a day.

Not recommended. While asleep you cannot check that the device stays in position, and the motion sensor may misread sleep movements.

Yes, you can add a second device if you want. Both are managed from one phone, and in a bilateral session they run at the same mode and intensity; independent settings are not supported.

The device is tied to a single paired account. To switch users, recalibrate and change the account in the app. For hygiene we recommend a separate strap per user.

A 2,800 mAh lithium-ion battery. A full charge gives roughly 10,000 steps equivalent and up to 12 hours on the leg. Continuous operation shortens this.

Over USB-C. The box contains only the USB-C cable; no power adapter is included, and a standard 5 V USB adapter is enough. The battery needs to be at least 30% to start a session.

Five sizes: XS (31-35 cm), S (36-40), M (41-45), L (46-50), XL (51-55). Standing up, measure the widest point of your calf with a flexible tape. If you are between sizes, take the larger one.

ABS/PC body with an anodised aluminium front panel. The strap has a polyester inner layer and a cotton outer layer against the skin. No silicone or gel is used.

No. ARCH V1 has no IP rating. It is designed for indoor, low-activity use and tolerates light perspiration on the calf. Do not use it while showering, swimming, in a sauna, during active sport, or where it may be splashed.

Wipe the sensor surface with a slightly damp microfibre cloth after each session. No solvents, alcohol-based cleaners or abrasives. Hand wash the strap with mild detergent below 30 °C, do not machine wash, and dry it in the shade.

Store it at 40-60% battery, in a dry place between 5-40 °C, away from direct sunlight.

It configures the device, starts and ends sessions, shows sensor readings, keeps session history and produces PDF reports. It runs on iOS 17+ and Android 12+. Up to two devices can be connected at once.

Over Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 with a GATT profile specific to ARCH. The data stream is encrypted.

Yes. With the device on standby, a short press of its button starts a session. It works with no app connected.

The device pairs with one phone at a time. Remove the pairing on the old phone, then run the pairing flow again on the new one.

No, the integration is optional. All core features work without a Watch; only HealthKit step data is unavailable.

Yes. Apart from the first sign-in and updates, the app works offline. The sensor stream and session records stay on the device and phone.

No. The bioimpedance sensor passes a very low-level measurement signal through the skin. People with a pacemaker, an implantable defibrillator or a similar implanted electronic device should not use ARCH V1. This is the same standard precaution that applies to bioimpedance bathroom scales.

ARCH products and services are not intended for anyone under 18. There is no upper age limit; if you have an existing health condition we recommend speaking with your doctor.

No specific restriction is defined for these. If you have neuropathic complications, particularly diabetic neuropathy, or uncontrolled hypertension, we recommend speaking with your doctor.

The layer touching the skin is cotton. On sensitive skin, prolonged contact may cause mild redness. It is not recommended for people with a known cotton or polyester allergy. Do not use it where the contact area has an open wound, an active skin condition or significant sensitivity.

No. ARCH V1 is a consumer wellness product and makes no such claim. Do not use the device if DVT is suspected.

As ARCH V1 is not assessed as a medical device, no clinical side-effect profile has been established. Possible discomfort includes mild redness at the contact area, a sense of muscle fatigue in long sessions, and pressure sensation at high intensity. Stop using it if discomfort persists.

Your sensor data (pulse, SpO₂, fluid balance, motion) stays on the device and the paired phone; it is not sent to ARCH servers. Only consent metadata (version, accepted items, timestamp) is sent, to meet GDPR and KVKK record-keeping obligations.

Local storage on the phone is covered by device encryption, and Bluetooth uses BLE's standard encryption layer. Data is never transmitted in plain text.

You can share the PDF reports the app produces however you like. ARCH has no direct data-sharing channel with clinicians. As these reports may contain personal health data, we recommend using a secure channel.

Yes. Send a request to info@archtechnology.co and your account is permanently deleted within 30 days.

The first shipment is targeted for the end of September 2026.

Two years, in every country we ship to. It starts from the purchase date. The warranty certificate is digital; the QR code in the box takes you to the certificate tied to your serial number.

CE (EMC, LVD, RED, RoHS) and FCC processes have started and are targeted for completion ahead of the September 2026 shipment. Final certificate numbers will be published when issued. As ARCH V1 is not a medical device, it falls outside medical device CE marking.

Yes. It is a typical wearable electronic device and needs no special declaration at airport security. Because of the lithium-ion battery we recommend carrying it in hand luggage rather than checked baggage.
