Wearable Walking Simulator

Walk While
You Sit.

Built for the hours
you sit still.

10,000 steps equivalent per charge

The workday left movement outside.

This is not a willpower problem. Modern work was designed to take movement out of the system.

Screens replaced places. Meetings replaced walking. The body was left out of the job.

We call this the Static Workday.

A typical desk day
Filled blocks are time spent seated. The coral marks are the short breaks where you stand up.
Walking
Seated
The pressure curve a single step creates in the calf muscle pump. Every step fires the pump. Once you sit down, nothing fires.

You have two hearts.

The one in your chest pumps blood out to the body. The one in your calves sends it back up to the heart, against gravity. Your calf muscles contract with every step, and medical literature calls this pump the body’s second heart.

The moment you sit down, that contraction stops. The pump goes quiet, and it stays quiet for as long as you sit in front of a screen.

This is the Second Heart Shutdown.

You do not notice it as pain. Your legs feel heavier at the end of the day, your shoes fit a little tighter.

The answer has been the same for years: get up and walk.

Advice collapses when it meets a system that rewards stillness. The meeting does not end. The flight continues. The device on your wrist buzzes, and you swipe it away.

  • Compression squeezes. It holds pressure steady instead of producing the rhythm of a step.
  • Electrical stimulation contracts the muscle. It does not reproduce the mechanics of walking.
  • Recovery boots work in sessions. They do not fit under a desk or come into a meeting.
  • Treadmill pads ask you to walk. You cannot walk in a meeting.

None of them replaces what the body loses when it sits down.

Built for the hours you cannot walk.

ARCH is a wearable walking simulator. Worn below the knee, it mechanically reproduces the movement of walking while you stay seated.

It does not apply compression and it does not pass current. All it does is reproduce the movement of walking, mechanically.

You put it on. You sit down. You work.

Full technical breakdown

ARCH ML uygulaması, oturum verilerini gösteren ekran

Your circulation,
made visible.

Three sensors read pulse, tissue oxygenation, and fluid balance. The device uses these readings to set its own operating timing.

It shows the readings in the app; it does not offer a health assessment or interpretation. Machine learning runs on the device itself, so the longer you use it, the better it matches your rhythm.

Your sensor data stays on the device and your phone. It is not sent to a server.

Bioimpedance measurement uses a very low-level signal. It is not recommended for people with a pacemaker or similar implant.

"How can we preserve an ancient biological system in a modern sedentary world?"

Human bodies weren’t made for stillness. For thousands of years, we moved to survive. But the last few decades introduced something evolution didn’t prepare us for: sitting.

Our circulatory system wasn’t built for this new lifestyle. Gravity works against us when we’re seated, and our natural "second heart", the calf muscle pump, stays dormant.

We bring together experts from health sciences, biomedical engineering, and industrial design to deliver a device that tracks your body and actively supports it during inactivity.

Frequently asked questions.

Is ARCH an EMS device?

No. It does not stimulate muscles with electrical current. Four micro actuators below the knee produce a mechanical pressure cycle.

Does it replace compression or medical stockings?

No. Compression applies static pressure, while ARCH produces a cyclic mechanical movement. It does not replace treatment prescribed by your doctor.

Is it a medical device?

No. ARCH V1 is a consumer wellness product. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.

Can I keep it on all day?

Yes, that is exactly what it was designed for. It does not run continuously; it engages when needed and waits when it does not.

How long does one charge last?

10,000 steps equivalent, and up to 12 hours on the leg. Continuous operation shortens run time.

Do I need the app?

No. You can start a session with the button on the device, without the app.

Where does my data go?

Your sensor data stays on the device and your phone. It is not sent to ARCH servers.

When does it ship?

First shipment target is the end of October 2026. Reservations ship in order.
